In collaboration with Digital Media Artist Donna Robinson; Continuum exhibition Mackay QLD Artspace May 21st-July 25th 2021; CD release of Desert Suite Excerpts written over 2 years living on the Arabian peninsular. Nearly 20 years ago, a live concert premiere took place in Durban South Africa and now these works installed and re-presented in the composer’s native country.

Donna Maree Robinson is an internationally exhibited, Mackay-based artist creating sitespecific digital media. Robinson teams up with Mackay-raised composer David Pyke to create
an immersive, multimedia exploration of music and science. Inspired by David’s experiences
in vast desert landscapes, the work is the result of Donna’s experimentations with cymatics,
or the visual representation of sound vibrations.
